Perfect for a big head Jun 20, 2011
By Ronald K. Shy I have owned two pair of costas in 6 years, a pair of Harpoons, and the Fisch. The lenses are unmatched by any other brand. I have tried numerous brands, these are THE BEST! The main reason I am writing this review is because I know there are some other customers out there with a big head. I wear a size 8 hat. The Fisch fits well and stay in place without squeezing my big ole grape. I wear them constantly, not just for fishing. They stay put when sweaty, they eliminate glare. It is like wearing x-ray glasses when fishing and looking into water. I purchased the 580 green mirror. They are perfect for all freshwater and some open ocean. If you are a blue water fisherman, I recommend the blue mirror lenses which are darker. For all around lenses, I like the green mirror. These give great coverage of the eyes, the frames do not block any vision and the wrap is perfect without hitting your eye lashes. If you shop around the web, you can find the Fisch with a 580 lense for around $160.

Terrible glasses. Awful Cust Service Jun 13, 2011
By Pluff Mud I purchased the Fisch 580 Blue lenses. 3 weeks after buying them, the interior rubber frame where the frames rest on the cheek bone started wearing away. After multiple conversations with their Customer Service, they agreed they were under warranty and wouldn't charge the 11.99 repair fee since they were so new. I sent them in. A week later they send me an email saying they would not honor warranty and would charge 49.00 to repair. I escalated my frustration to a Mgr and all they would do is agree to charge me the 11.99. I am an avid fisherman and have always bought and like Costas. Never again will I buy anything they offer. I will do everything I can from this point forward to deter anyone from purchasing or wearing any product they offer.
