Save your hard earned cash! Jun 02, 2009

I purchased these sunglasses about 16 months ago. I take the best care of my glasses. I own several pairs of sunglasses so I don't wear the same ones every day. I only use the proper cleaning cloths and cleaner. I keep my glasses in their case if they are not on my face. I paid premium for these glasses because I wanted polarized. The first pair I bought got an orange spot on them in less than a month. They were immediately replaced. Now 16 months later, I have several white spots on my glasses that won't go away. I took them back to where I purchased them and it was recommended I contact Ray Ban. What a joke! They expected me to send the glasses back, at my expense, and send them about $12 for them to tell me what's wrong with the glasses. I spent about $150 on these glasses and I refuse to spend another cent. When I sent them an email on my problem with their product, they kept sending me form letters. I could have told them their face was on fire and they kept sending form letters. They are a perfect example of passive aggressive. I will never buy their overpriced junk again. They have no back bone when it comes to customer service. I've had problems with other products in the past and received satisfaction (at least someone willing to work with me), but their customer service is the biggest joke I've ever encountered and their products are sold at a premium. I own much cheaper glasses with no problems. $150 with about 16 months use...you do the math!
