5Great buy  Jun 08, 2011

These glasses saved me a bunch, I was able to find them at a lower retail price here, and get the lenses somewhere else. The hinges are spring-loaded and the seller was very professional, if you're in the market for a new pair of eyeglass frames I'd recommend getting these glasses any day, you don't have to sacrifice style and quality for the price here.

3Looks great, but flimsy  Sep 21, 2010
By Pat Moniz
First, I have to say that the 5144's look great. I got raving compliments when I first got them. They were the first plastic frames I've ever worn, so I don't know if I was expecting too much. You see, the arms aren't screwed on like the metal glasses I am used to. They're glued on. Because of this, folding and unfolding the arms wears away at the glue. I've already had one pair replaced after owning them for just a few months. I first bought them in June of last year, which is only a little over a year ago. They just fell apart again. I think that I'm going to use tape on them and get a new pair with different frames just to avoid them breaking again. Remember that there is only a one year warranty, so if they break after that (which they will) you are stuck with it.
